Auto Mushroom Growing Kit -Inject-and-Forget Bag 4LBS × 4

How the Auto Mushroom Growing Kit Works:

  1. Inject the Spores: Using a sterile syringe, inject your spores into the bag. Once injected, mix the spores thoroughly with the substrate inside the bag.
  2. Incubate in the Dark: Place the bag in a dark, warm environment (26-27°C) for 10 days to allow the spores to germinate and for initial mycelium growth. We have added the Option to include a Growbuddie or Digital heat mat below.
  3. Mix Again: On day 10, you will see mycelium forming. Gently mix the bag again to spread the mycelium evenly for faster colonization. Put back on the heat source.
  4. Full Colonization: After 5 more days, the bag will be fully colonized and ready for fruiting. Move the bag into artificial light while maintaining temperatures at 26-27°C for the fruiting phase.
  5. Harvesting Mushrooms: In 14-21 days after introduction of artificial light, your mushrooms will be fully developed. Open the bag only when you're ready to harvest. Do not open the bag before harvesting.
  6. Repeat the Process: After harvesting, hydrate the substrate by adding ½ cup of water. Leave the water in the bag for 24 hours and after the 24hrs, drain the mushroom grow bag for 15 minutes. Place back onto the heat source. The bag will be ready to fruit again in just 10 days!

In mushroom cultivation, light plays an essential role in triggering the fruiting process. Although mushrooms do not rely on light for photosynthesis, they still require exposure to light for proper growth and development.
